These Antique Copper Jump Rings are perfect for a variety of jewelry projects and chainmaille weaves. These jump rings are made from Half Hard Copper Wire and are perfect for medium - heavy duty projects. These jump rings have an antique copper tone which we hand apply. They are ready for you to create with them and then choose seal them, or leave them to naturally develop more. These are great to work with because they are saw cut for nearly seamless closes and the size is made especially for chainmaille so they are easy to integrate into your weaves and designs. They also work well for a variety of other jewelry creations!
The patina is created by hand as well. We offer 2 general levels of oxidation; medium and dark. The MEDIUM oxidation will have varying shades of brown with possible red and gold tones. The DARK oxidation will have varying shades of dark brown, grey and black. The wire will continue to oxidize once exposed to the air and may also loose some of its dark tones as you work with it. You can choose to seal this with Renaissance Wax to hold their current tones. You can also use our Synthetic Steel Wool to give them more distinctive highlights and low lights.
