One of the secrets to successful soldering is using the least amount of solder possible. These pliers will help you in that endeavor by helping you cut 1/8" squares. In addition, their unique design will keep the cut pieces from flying across the room! Cut up to 18 gauge wire solder as well as all sheet solder. These solder cutting pliers are made from tool hardened stainless steel, have a lap joint with double leaf spring and coated handles.
