We are frequently asked how we make our handmade titanium, niobium and stainless steel jump rings and findings so smooth....this is how we do it! This will also help smooth the ends and edges, but will not replace all finishing work.
The tumbling media is 1/2 pound of Ceramic Deburring Media and can be reused over and over - ours have lasted us several years and we use it every day. You can use this tumbling media with any metal, just make sure to clean it before switching by letting it tumble in slightly soapy water for an hour. The deburring solution is a concentrate which will make a gallon of solution. You can reuse it a time or 2, but don't use the same solution with different metals.
